The design of this new three-bedroom house splits the home into two separate wings, connected by a link. The link enables views out to be central to moving around the home.

Practically, each wing sits most naturally with the land's contours, providing an elegant architectural solution that reduces the visible bulk of the house, soil disturbance and building cost.

Long angled roofs facilitate a large solar array, which has since been installed. Without a water connection, the roof design provides a simple rainwater collection system.

Natural materials as per the owner's brief are used throughout and successfully create a relaxed space to reconnect.
